Sonia Garcia is the owner of Palatable Painting, a premier residential painting firm in San Antonio. Sonia’s team specializes in high-end interior and exterior transformations, catering to an upscale clientele that values precision, aesthetics, and professional reliability.

The Challenge

The "Luxe" Gap Despite the high quality of her real-world work, Sonia’s digital presence was "lackluster" and failed to resonate with her target market. Generic Branding: The use of stock photography diluted the brand’s authenticity and expertise. Fragmented User Journey: Information was scattered; for example, services and pricing were on separate pages, creating unnecessary friction. SEO Limitations: The site lacked structural depth to rank for high-value local searches in specific San Antonio neighborhoods.

I moved the site away from a "template" feel and toward a custom-engineered platform designed for high-end conversion.

Interactive Proof of Transformation: I implemented a "Before & After" reveal slider on the portfolio pages. This interactive element allows users to physically drag a bar to reveal the stark contrast of Sonia’s craftsmanship.

Neighborhood Style Guides: Using custom post types, I created "Neighborhood Personality" profiles. These use AI-generated interior concepts and curated color palettes to give homeowners style inspiration based on their specific area.

Prioritized Social Proof: I re-architected the testimonial system. Video reviews—the highest form of trust—are dynamically prioritized to appear at the top, while text-based reviews are styled into a separate, clean section.

The "Consolidated" Service UX: I eliminated the friction of two-page service layouts by combining technical service details and pricing into single, high-converting landing pages.

Technical Excellence & Accessibility: I ensured every background and typeface passed the strict AAA Accessibility (7+) standards. I also replaced all stock imagery with Sonia's actual project photography and added subtle, professional animations to elevate the "luxe" feel.
