— make updating/adding content easier for staff, and 💻

— give customers and potential customers access to baking info, ingredients, package sizing, and more to make the buying and using process easier. 📄


A Sweet Transformation: The New Website for Aphrodite Divine Confections

At Fat Dog Creatives, we infused the Aphrodite Divine Confections website with a look as rich and indulgent as the desserts themselves, crafting a space that feels warm, inviting, and brimming with flavor.

1. A Visual Feast for the Eyes

Desserts are as much about presentation as they are taste. We designed the site to reflect this, using rich colors, high-quality images, and elegant typography to give visitors a taste of Aphrodite’s luxurious confections before they even place an order.

As I often say, the photography can make or break a site design, and Shannon’s team nailed these! Top view, front views with slicing to show the gooey, deliciousness of the cookies, togas, brownies, etc.

2. Simplified Navigation for a Smooth Experience

From browsing decadent cakes to ordering treats, our streamlined navigation makes it effortless to find exactly what visitors are craving. Each section is clearly laid out, guiding users from browsing to checkout with ease.

3. Mobile-Ready Design

We ensured the site is fully responsive, meaning visitors can order their next treat from any device, be it desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

4. User Engagement that Sells

Interactive galleries, featured products, and testimonials provide visitors with an engaging experience, building anticipation and confidence in the brand’s quality. From first look to checkout, each click is designed to drive conversions.

5. SEO-Driven Success

We incorporated SEO best practices to boost Aphrodite Divine Confections’ visibility, helping more dessert lovers find them online and turning clicks into customers.

Product organization

  • Site visitors can see all products at once.
  • We used only four product categories, and 4 product tags, so that users can easily view products by category, filtering, and search.

Product showcase

  • Individual product pages use multiple product photos, include spec sheets, ingredients, baking info, and more!

Easier content updates

  • I used customized content input/output fields (custom post types) to populate the product, staff, and event pages and individual pages.
  • Custom fields were used to make updates on existing or adding new products super easy for the team so that they didn’t have to worry about layout or adding the content to multiple pages at all.

Product & Sales Info for Customers

  • The sales team has an easy-to-access/share list of products, their marketing assets, spec sheets, and more–making their job a bit easier, as well as a custom form for potential customers to indicate which product categories they are interested in and their type of business.
